Access to e-resources in 2023
Limited access to electronic resources in 2023
We regret to inform and forward information from the national Coordinator of database consortia, the Interdisciplinary Centre for Mathematical and Computational Modelling (ICM UW), about the suspension of funding from the Minister of Education and Science for four databases subscribed by the Cracow University of Technology. Currently, the CUT Library is trying to negotiate the most favorable offer for the purchase of access to resources:
- AIP - American Institute of Physics,
- APS - American Physical Society,
- Knovel,
- Natural Science Collection, Proquest.
In the absence of funds to cover the subscription of the aforementioned e-resources, their exclusion will take place on 10 Feb., 2023. Please take this into consideration and use the remaining time effectively.
In addition, we would like to inform you about changes in national licenses in 2023:
- Science and Nature have lost funding. Access will be turned off on 15 Feb. for Nature and on 31 March for Science,
- Science Direct – another nine collections have been removed from access under the license, including the Chemistry collection. A list of available titles can be found at: https://tiny.pl/wlnqd (new window)
- Elsevier open publishing programme includes 1013 articles,
- Springer open publishing programme includes 1311 articles,
- ACS open publishing programme includes 370 articles.
