CUT Library work organisation from 18 May, 2020

In accordance with the Ordinance No 31 of the Rector of the CUT of 9 April, 2020 about actions aimed at preventing and counteracting SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection we would like to inform you, that currently the services of the CUT Library are limited, services will be gradually made available and the scope of using CUT Library collections will be expanded.

From 18 May 2020 it will be possible to borrow and return books:

  • Warszawska St. Campus – Lending Room (a window next to the entrance)
  • Czyżyny Campus – CUT Branch Library at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, 37 Jana Pawła II Av., (a window next to the entrance),

in hours (both campuses):

  • Mon., Tue., Thu., Fri.: 9:00-14:00
  • Wed.: 12:00-17:00

Books should be ordered remotely, through the library system.

Interlibrary loans, both domestic and foreign, are also launched. Orders for interlibrary loans should be submitted through the electronic form in the library system.

Other rules of service for CUT Library users remain unchanged:

  • Library accounts that expired between 12 March and 29 September, 2020 have been extended to 30 September, 2020.
  • The deadlines for returning borrowed books will be extended until 30 September, 2020.
  • For the period when it was not possible to return the books (i.e. from 12 March), the fees for the overdue items will be reduced accordingly.

Readers interested in standards are asked to contact the Library Lending Rooms; a special procedure has been prepared for those interested in standards.

Access to electronic resources and services remains unchanged. Any questions regarding this matter should be directed to the Serials and E-Resources Department, phone (12) 628 29 68, czasopisma@biblos.pk.edu.pl.

Information for doctoral students before defending their doctoral dissertation – the procedure for accepting documents and works remains unchanged, except that documents addressed to the CUT Library should be submitted to the University Chancellery. Receipt of signed documents in the "window next to the entrance". Any questions in this matter should be directed to: agnieszka.gorska@pk.edu.pl.
