Open publishing programmes in 2022
The CUT Library reminds that employees of the Cracow University of Technology have the possibility to publish their articles in open or hybrid journals. This makes works immediately and freely available to readers directly from the publisher's website.
In terms of national licensing, the Ministry of Education and Science has launched open publishing programmes and covers the costs of publishing articles in the Open Access model in selected journals.
Elsevier Open Access publishing programmes
Programme A - includes publishing exempt from the Article Processing Charge (APC) and applies to articles sent for review in 2022.
Programme B - includes publishing at the author's expense with a discount and applies to articles sent for review in 2021.

As a reminder, affiliation with either Program A or Program B is offered to the author when he or she completes the Rights and Access form (Handbook for Programme A, Handbook for Programme B), which follows the review process and after the editorial board has accepted the article for publication.
The affiliation of authors in programme A and B is verified by local administrators at the institutions. In the case of the Cracow University of Technology, verification is done by the Serials and E-Resources Department of the CUT Library (Helena Gałek, MA, e-mail: zasoby.online@pk.edu.pl).
