RODBUK awarded CoreTrustSeal certification
The RODBUK Cracow Open Research Data Repository (new window) has received the prestigious CoreTrustSeal (new wondow) certification, confirming compliance with international standards for so-called trusted data repositories.
The certification is the result of cooperation between the Academic Computer Centre Cyfronet AGH (new window) and the RODBUK Data Management Group (new window), who have adapted the service to the highest quality and security requirements. This means that the data stored at RODBUK is secure, easily accessible and complies with the FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, Reusable) principles. The RODBUK has thus joined the elite group of only 157 certified repositories worldwide, recommended by the European Commission and research funding agencies such as the National Science Centre.
CoreTrustSeal (new window) is an international non-profit organisation promoting sustainable and trusted infrastructures for sharing research data. Obtaining their certification based on a dozen criteria is the first step towards global certification based on the nestor-Seal standards DIN 31644 and ISO 16363.
