Rules for the use of the CUT Library Reading Rooms and the Information Services Dept.

We invite you to use the services of the CUT Library Reading Rooms and the Information Services Department from 18 January, 2021, in accordance with the following rules:

1. After entering the CUT Library, you should disinfect your hands with a disinfecting liquid. Sanitary safety rules must be followed: nose and mouth covered.
2. When visiting the CUT Library, readers should keep a spatial distance (minimum 1.5 meters).
3. Limit of simultaneous visitors to reading rooms (excluding librarians):
   Main Reading Room - 4 people
   Serials Reading Room - 2 people
   The Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Library (BWM) - 6 people
   Information Services Department - 1 person
4. After entering the Reading Room, the user should present the library card and take the place of work indicated by the librarian.
5. Free access to the collection - open.
6. The necessary books, standards or journals from the stacks should be ordered from the librarian on duty.
7. The ordered / used materials should be placed in the designated place.
8. We enable the use of computer stations and scanners located in Reading Rooms. We recommend that readers use their own laptops.
9. Computer tables and workstations are decontaminated by the librarian after each use.
10. Please be advised that in accordance with the applicable guidelines, the cloakrooms in the CUT Library are closed. In the Main Building and the Pavilion, we provide the possibility of using small clothing lockers.
