W artykule omówiono wybrane problemy projektowania Wielofunkcyjnej Sali Koncertowej w Toruniu. Wynikały one głównie z tego, że w realizowanym obiekcie wprowadzono wiele nowatorskich, wcześniej nigdy niestosowanych rozwiązań materiałowych i funkcjonalnych, np. okładziny ścian i sufitów w postaci konglomeratów betonu z cegłą lub tufem wulkanicznym, wprowadzono ruchome sufity oraz możliwość połączenia dwóch sal koncertowych w jedną większą. Określono przyczyny powstania problemów. Na koniec sformułowano zalecenia umożliwiające uniknięcie ich w przyszłości przy realizacji podobnych przedsięwzięć inwestycyjnych.

The article covers selected problems appearing while designing Multipurpose Concert Hall in Toruń. The problems resulted mainly from the fact that a lot of innovative, never before applied, solutions concerning both materials and design were introduced in the process. They concern for example using wall and ceiling linings made of conglomerate of concrete with brick or volcanic tuff, introducing movable ceilings or the possibility of joining two concert halls into a bigger one. The reasons for which the problems arose were determined and then formulated the recommendations which would allow avoiding various problems while dealing with similar projects in future.
