Obiekty przedpogrzebowe posiadają specyficzne cechy, które pozwalają na ich wyróżnienie jako odrębnej grupy obiektów architektonicznych. Wskazanie wzorców z przeszłości i przykładów współczesnych, analiza uwarunkowań kulturowych formalnych i funkcjonalnych może przyczynić się do uznania ich za ważny znak kultury materialnej.

Mortuary objects have specific features that allow them to be distinguished as a separate group of architectural objects. Indication of the patterns of the past and contemporary examples, the analysis of cultural conditions both formal and functional may help to ensure that the mortuary objects as one of the main architectural space of a man, on a par with other public facilities, have become an important sign of material culture.
