W pracy przedstawiono wybrane zagadnienia współczesnego budownictwa energooszczędnego widziane z perspektywy doświadczeń architekta – projektanta oraz dydaktyka. Na podstawie praktyki zawodowej nakreślono problematykę projektowania i realizacji obiektów energooszczędnych, które powstały na zlecenie Gminy Wrocław oraz inwestorów indywidualnych. Omawiana problematyka dotyczy w szczególności przygotowania dokumentacji projektowej, wykonawstwa i użytkowania obiektów energooszczędnych. Ponadto w skrócie zaprezentowano niektóre zjawiska związane z energooszczędnością. Dokonano próby zdiagnozowania istniejącej sytuacji oraz sformowania perspektyw na przyszłość.

The paper presents selected issues of modern energy-efficient architecture from the perspective of an experienced designer and educator. On the basis of professional practice the authors outline problems related to the design and implementation of energy efficient guidelines in buildings that have been built at the request of the Municipality of Wrocław and individual investors. In particular, the paper discusses the preparation of documentation, the construction phase and the use of energy-efficient buildings. In addition, it briefly presents some phenomena related to the energy efficiency and attempts to diagnose the situation and express conclusions for the future.
