The CUT Library offers trials of new databases or e-resources to allow students and staff the opportunity to evaluate their suitability and use. The trials have been organized since 2001. Feedback from trials is used to inform possible purchase decisions. To help us make the right choices we arrange access to new electronic resources on a trial basis. We encourage you to use them and provide us with feedback. Please sent it to: zasoby.online@pk.edu.pl

Scopus AI (new window) is an intuitive and intelligent search tool powered by generative AI (GenAI) that enhances your understanding and enriches your insights with unprecedented speed and clarity. Scopus AI uses the Scopus peer-reviewed research repository to help users understand and navigate unfamiliar academic content. Scopus AI generates summaries based on Scopus abstracts with references to help decipher complex content, facilitate deeper exploration, and provide academic insights.

During the trial, a Q&A online session with experts will take place on 15 May 2024 at 12:00 (link to mandatory registration) (new window). The session will be held in English.

SciFlow logo

SciFlow (new window) is an online text editor for researchers and students, with which scientific texts can be created and edited in teams and formatted at the push of a button. The tool is designed to reduce communication time and eliminate the frustration of reformatting multiple versions of manuscripts and text files. SciFlow offers 300 journal templates, quick formatting of a thesis or other scientific text, and the ability to add your own university template. Platform, among others, supports over 8,000 citation styles and enables authors to collaborate on a single text.

De Gruyter eBooks (new window) - offer more than 160,000 excellent titles across 29 subject areas (De Gruyter search results (new window)), a deep backlist (from 1749 until today), and partnerships with prominent publishers. The collection is a high-quality source materials and a rich mix of book types for all levels of research such as monographs, textbooks, handbooks, and more.
