Opublikowano wyniki analizy wpływu spękań żelbetowych ścian na bezpieczną eksploatację obiektu o żelbetowej konstrukcji monolitycznej, z wykorzystaniem modelu grubej powłoki walcowej. Wykazano, że w dolnej partii ścian komory nie zostały spełnione warunki stanu granicznego nośności i użytkowalności pierścieniowego przekroju żelbetowego. Przyczyną występujących wad były błędy w ocenie funkcji naprężeń i zastosowanie niewłaściwego zbrojenia oraz zmiana schematu statycznego eksploatowanej konstrukcji w konsekwencji wybuchu biogazu. Sformułowano koncepcję wykonania wzmocnień.

Making use of a thick tubular shell model, the paper presents the analysis of the influence of cracks in reinforced concrete (RC) walls on safe operation of a monolithic ferroconcrete structure. It has been shown that the lower parts of the dige stive tanker walls failed to meet the requirements related to usability (serviceability limit state – SLS), load carrying capacity, or ultimate limit state (ULS) as well as the stability of the RC tubular cross-section of the tanker. The causes of the failure have been found to be due to the faults in the assessment of the stress distribution function and implementation of inappropriate steel reinforcement, as well as the change in the static scheme of the construction in use. As a result a concept of structural reinforcement of the construction has been formulated.
