Rules that apply to users during their stay in CUT Library (including Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Library BWM).

Registration to the CUT Library - Guidelines for Students

Borrowing and returning books.

  • Warszawska St. Campus – Lending Room (phone 12 628 29 63), Mon.-Fri. 8:00-15:00
  • Czyżyny Campus, CUT Branch Library at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, 37 Jana Pawła II Av. –  Lending Room (phone 12 628 36 51), Mon.-Fri. 8:00-15:00

Books should be ordered remotely, through the library system.

Library overdue charges:
Library cash-desk, Lending Room, Warszawska St., (Mon.-Fri. 8:00-15:00).

Registration:
- remotely (for 1st year students): see the course "How to use the CUT Library", solve the course summary test with a result of min. 10 points, confirm knowledge of the CUT Library Regulations. The library account will be created on the next business day at the latest.

Registration to the library (PhD students and PK employees):
- remotely: see the course "Join the CUT Library", confirm knowledge of the CUT Library Regulations. The library account will be created on the next business day at the latest.

Applications to extend the validity of accounts, all questions related to renewals, the book returns and the student leaving form (leaver’s checklist) should be directed to:

Interlibrary loan orders should be submitted through the electronic form in the library system.

Reading Rooms and Information Services Dept. - open to users, Mon.-Fri. 8:00-15:00. There are special rules for the use of the CUT Library Reading Rooms and the Information Services Department.
