Online card catalogue is available online (new window).
Tools for searching:
- selection of the letter and the range of cards within it
- search window
- windows to change the format, resolution and also the number of columns and rows of the displayed results
- buttons +10 +20 +50 + 100 and -10 -20 -50 -100
- back, forward buttons
Finding the book you are looking for is done in multiple stages:
- in the search window, enter the author's desired keyword (e.g., Halliday) or title (e.g., construction)
- the system refer to the first card of the range in which the card should be ranked. Finding the right card is done by browsing the cards within the drawer ascending by +10, +20, +50, +100 cards, or going back to the searched card by the same range, i.e. -10, -20, -50, -100 records
- after finding a proper card, user should fill a paper order slip with: author's name, titles, signatures, user details and submit it to the librarian in the Reading Room.
When you enter an author or title entry, the current version of the card catalogue does not show a list of results. Please notice that the online card catalogue will show only the range of cards. Any search for relevant records, start with the Computer Library Catalogue (new window).
