Get to know the Cracow University of Technology Library!
The mission of the Library of Cracow University of Technology is to support education and research conducted by the CUT and to provide integrated library and information services to its users including access to information on scientific achievements in Poland and world-wide. The Library is focused on equipping students with the essential skills and capabilities to enable their self-directed learning and overall personal development as well as to preserve the library collection for future generations. The CUT Library through providing an accurate fulfillment of its mission has created a positive image in the CUT community.
Realized objectives:
- providing the library users with easy access to resources, creating a friendly working environment, constant adaptation of the services provided to the needs of library users and the opportunities in technological change,
- library collection development according to the profile of the CUT University in cooperation with the academic staff and students needs, provide adequate protection and storage of library collection,
- participation in improving the scientific and professional environment by providing new knowledge and services,
- attention to library staff development and training at all levels, enhancing staff motivation and improve their qualifications,
- creating a good image of the Library in the academic environment and collaboration with Polish and worldwide libraries and other cultural institutions,
