Guidelines for First Year Students

We invite you to read the information that will help you find your way in the CUT Library.

Location

The CUT Library is located on the campus at 24 Warszawska St. in Kraków: the Main Building and the Library Pavilion and at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at 37 G Jana Pawła II Av. in Kraków - Branch Library at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering (BWM). See a map.

CUT Library terms of use

1. Registration

   • you have to come to the CUT Library Circulation Desk with an Electronic Student Identity Card (ELS).

     • Lending Room (24 Warszawska St. - Campus)

     • CUT Branch Library at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering – Lending Room, (37 G Jana Pawła II Av).

2. The Library's collection includes traditional and electronic publications: books, journals, standards, catalogues, databases, doctoral dissertations defended at the CUT. Traditional collections are available on site (in the reading rooms and in the Information Services Department) or they can be borrowed. We provide electronic collections via a computer network. The book collection consists of textbooks and other study materials, as well as fiction.
3. Ordering. The titles available in the Library are checked through the catalogue available on the website. To order a book, you must have an active library account, search for the book in the computer catalogue and order it electronically.
