Wireless network

The only wireless network available to users at the CUT Library is Eduroam. In order to use it, the following are necessary:

  • device (laptop, tablet, smatphone) with a WiFi network card that supports WPA2 protocol,
  • you need to complete a certificate application form (new window) generated by the CUT Certification Centre. The waiting time for the certificate to be issued is approx. 2 business days.

Remote access

The CUT employees, senior professors and students with a valid Library account can access electronic resources offered by the CUT Library from devices located outside the University network, such as from home. Some of the databases require the creation of an account - e.g. Ebookpoint BIBLIO, SIGMA NOT.

To use remote access to electronic sources, you need to: select from the alphabetical list the resource you want to use, enter your Library card number or electronic student card (ELS), enter the password used when logging into your own Library account.

For more information about available electronic resources, as well as rules for using them, see "How to use e-resources".

Please note! The problems may occur due to the settings of the installed firewall when using the remote access. The system can identify a user several times during a single session. If you have any problems, please contact the Information Service Department, phone 628-29-67 or e-mail: zasoby.online@pk.edu.pl. We encourage you to use and share your comments on the operation of the service!
